Ξεκίνησαν σαν τρίο το 1984 με τους Χρήστο Σκορδύλη (κιθάρα), Θεόφιλο Τσιολακάκη (μπάσο, φωνή) και τον Μανώλη Ρωμένη (ντραμς). Ο τελευταίος αποχώρησε νωρίς λόγω σπουδών. Το όνομα εμπνεύστηκε ο Θεόφιλος από ένα κείμενο με τίτλο "The Lion In A Cage" του Genesis P-Orridge των Throbbing Gristle, στο οπισθόφυλλο του άλμπουμ "Thirst" των Clock DVA.

Με την προσθήκη των Μπάμπη Αργυρίου (πλήκτρα, κιθάρα, φωνητικά), του Γιώργου Κυριάκου (κιθαρίστα ήδη στους International Comedy και Mushrooms) ως ντράμερ και του Κοσμά Αλεξίου που ανέλαβε το μπάσο, κυκλοφόρησαν μια ομώνυμη κασέτα που αποτέλεσε την πρώτη κυκλοφορία της Lazy Dog Records (1985). Σε δύο από τα τραγούδια της κασέτας, τα "Νεκροψία" και "Fall (In A Basket Full Of Snakes)" ντραμς έπαιξε ο Λάζαρος Πλιάμπας (International Comedy, Proxies, Flood, Γκρόβερ, Ροδάμα, Ντίνος Σαδίκης).

Μετά την αποχώρηση του Θεόφιλου Τσιολακάκη, με τον Μπάμπη Αργυρίου στα φωνητικά το γκρουπ ηχογράφησε τα τραγούδια "Inactive" και "Maybe Some More", τα οποία συμπεριλήφθηκαν στην κασέτα-συλλογή "Give Bees A Chance" (1985).
